Personal, academic and official documents
At Taxes Positivos we help you translate your documents from Spanish to English or from English to Spanish, with a certification of accuracy and completeness. Tell us which institution you will submit them to so we can review the requirements before we begin.
Documents we translate
Birth, marriage and death certificates, and other civil registry documents.
Supporting documents you need to submit in translation, according to the requirements of the procedure.
Diplomas, certificates of studies, grades and academic transcripts.
Court rulings, background records, contracts and other documents, subject to a review of the content and availability.
Is your document not on this list? Ask us to confirm whether we can help with it.
Certification of accuracy
The translation comes with a statement signed by the translator certifying that it is complete and accurate with respect to the document provided and that the translator is competent to translate between the languages involved.
The entire document is translated, including annotations and relevant elements that are legible.
The statement identifies the translation and the person responsible for certifying it.
Names, dates, numbers and consistency with the document received are reviewed.
Certifying the translation does not authenticate the original document or certify that the facts described in it are true.
Receiving institution
Requirements may vary by institution and procedure. Before we quote, tell us who will receive the document and share their instructions, if you have them.
For documents in another language, a complete English translation and the translator's corresponding certification are required.
There may be specific requirements for certification, signature, format or submission.
Confirm whether they require a translation, a credential evaluation or other additional services.
An academic translation is not the same as a degree validation, a study equivalency or a credential evaluation.
Translation, notarization and apostille
It includes the translator's statement about the completeness and accuracy of their work and their language competence.
It is a notarial act related to a signature or another corresponding act. It does not replace the translation or certify its linguistic quality.
It is an authentication for certain international uses. It is not automatically included with the translation.
Let us know if the institution requires any of these. We will confirm which service we can offer and what must be handled separately.
